Willow Tree is an intimate series of figurative sculptures that depict emotions such as love, closeness, healing, courage, hope... all the feelings we encounter in life. The artist Susan Lordi carves the original of each Willow Tree-sculpture by hand. The pieces are made from stone resin based on her original carvings and then individually hand-painted with lead-free paint. "I try to keep the interpretation Willow Tree open. I hope that makes it more personal and allows the viewer to decide on its meaning." - Susan Lordi.
