Ed Heck lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. The American artist developed his art from his passion for music and prehistoric wildlife. After studying art, he initially illustrated for the American Museum of Natural History and then began creating his own dinosaurs and figures. His lifestyle, unpretentious and simple, also reflects his painting style, which is characterized by a reduction to the essentials, seasoned with a touch of clever humor. His trademark is the shaky black outline; "Life can be fun" is the motto.
